Charity and Freemasonry
Freemasonry, one of the world’s oldest and most widespread fraternal organisations, and has a long-standing tradition of charitable endeavors; it’s in our core.
Freemasons help people and communities locally, regionally, nationally, and often internationally, particularly at times of major disasters.
Some Freemasons support charity through regular giving, others through actively working with and in their communities, using their skills to benefit others.
Freemasons also support their own charities such as the Masonic Charitable Foundation, the MCF, and within the Province of Yorkshire West Ridings, Freemasons are in what is know as ‘Festival’, raising money internally for the MCF.
