Links to Other Local Lodges

Harrogate Masonic Hall is home to five active Lodges including our own, each with its own rich history and traditions. The five are:

• Harrogate & Claro Lodge No. 1001
  Consecrated in 1864, this is the oldest lodge in Harrogate. Its name reflects the historical “Claro” wapentake, a Saxon territorial division encompassing Harrogate and Ripon. The Lodge meets monthly and welcomes members from diverse backgrounds and professions. Facebook | Website
• Doric Lodge No. 2695
  Established in 1898, Doric Lodge began as a Medical and Professional Lodge and now includes members from all walks of life. It meets on the third Friday of each month and is known for its warm fellowship and commitment to community service. Website
• Harlow Lodge No. 4404
  In 1921 a joint committee of Brethren from two local Lodges decided that another Lodge was necessary. The new Lodge was called Harlow Lodge and was Established in 1922. The Lodge meets on the first Friday of each month and is well known for its camaraderie and charitable activities.
• Spa Lodge No. 7609 
  A vibrant and active lodge of freemasons from different occupations and professions, consecrated in 1968, meeting on the third Wednesday of each month, October to July inclusive, within Installation meeting in October. Facebook | Website
• Linton Lodge No. 9444
  Founded in 1991, Linton Lodge No. 9444 is a young lodge with a reputation for being relaxed, friendly, and fun. The lodge takes its name from Linton Village Hall near Wetherby, where it originally met. Today, members gather in Harrogate on the fourth Wednesday of the month and are known for their open, welcoming approach and commitment to community service. Website

These lodges, along with others, form part of the Province of Yorkshire, West Riding, which includes over 180 Lodges and 80 Royal Arch Chapters, representing more than 5,000 Freemasons across the region.
